Christmas in the Castle

Advent atmosphere in Münnerstadt: Artisan market "Christmas in the Castle" on November 29/30. It's almost that time again, the popular Münnerstadt artisan market "Christmas in the Castle" will open its doors. In the lovingly decorated Deutschordensschloss and the Heimatspielhaus, many exhibitors will present handicrafts, handmade items, and unique decorative articles. While the adults are already picking up their first Christmas gifts, the little visitors can, for example, visit the "Mürschter Heaven Post Office" to hand in their Christmas wish list to the "Post Angel." Additionally, there will be several stalls offering winter delights and a varied music program: Besides various groups and bands from the city area and the Münnerstadt music school, "AKUSTIK eintopf" will perform on Saturday from 7:30 PM and "International Harmony" (Rock, Pop, Salsa) will play on Sunday from 2:30 PM.

Tip: On Sunday, November 30, in addition to "Christmas in the Castle," there will also be the city market around the town hall and a Sunday shopping event in the Münnerstadt shops. Be sure to visit the Henneberg Museum with the special exhibition commemorating the 500th anniversary of the "Peasants' War." An event – Five perspectives. Opening hours during the Christmas market: Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. Admission to the exhibition is free, but admission to the Christmas market must be paid for the museum visit in any case.
