Fasnacht Fire Rüßwihl

The KLJB Rüßwihl traditionally hosts the Fasnacht fire with witch burning in Rüßwihl. Experience the atmospheric conclusion of Fasnacht in Rüßwihl! Tradition and camaraderie are at the heart of the event as we ignite the Fasnacht fire. The evening begins with a small parade that leads from the schoolhouse to Steinbühl. The mournful march is accompanied by the Chrutschlämpe Guggenmusik, which evokes both nostalgia and anticipation for the fire with its sounds. Upon arriving at Steinbühl, we create an unforgettable moment when the large Fasnacht fire is lit. The traditional "Scheiben schlagen" also takes place at the fire, where burning wooden discs are struck with long poles over trestles, causing them to fly far into the dark night sky, creating a spectacular display of glowing sparks. Afterward, the party tent continues with bar service, hot sausages, and a great atmosphere.
