TimeLine Band

A rock concert with the Time Line Band from Gießen – a Pink Floyd tribute band whose five musicians do everything they can to cover the sound of Pink Floyd as authentically as possible, which they impressively and astonishingly succeed in doing.
With this concert, we want to highlight the high artistic work of the English rock group, which is one of the most successful bands of all time. The fact that the Gießen Time Line Band takes the rock band Pink Floyd as a model is due to their great respect for the musical achievements of Pink Floyd founders Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. The concert, exceptionally not taking place in the Braumanufaktur but in the Laubach town church, is due to the acoustic properties of the Laubach basilica, which is ideally suited to fully convey the psychedelic sounds of this demanding rock music.
Admission is free. Please let us know via email at info@kunstforumlaubach.de how many seats we should reserve for you, so we can get an overview of the expected number of visitors and avoid overbooking the event. The concert is a so-called "hat concert," where we will pass around a hat during the break to ask for donations.
The fact that a rock concert can even take place in a historic house of worship is thanks to the Laubach church council as well as Pastor Anke Stöppler and Pastor Jörg Niesner. The team is open to people of all interests and innovative for events that do not primarily serve church purposes. The goal of the organizers is to unite people through the church, and a rock concert in the sacred halls fits into that vision. It is possible that people who have distanced themselves from the church for various reasons may find their way back. Perhaps good rock music can contribute to a little reflection.
