Groß-Umstadt Advent Market

On the 3rd Advent, the atmospheric Groß-Umstadt Advent Market takes place in the historic marketplace. In the column hall of the historic town hall, there is an attractive exhibition for hobby artists and the popular Advent market café offering delicious coffee and cake, along with numerous specialties.

Christmas spirit is everywhere, with stalls featuring jewelry and gift ideas, toys, and much more awaiting visitors from near and far. There is also plenty of food and drink available. Sweet treats, crêpes, sausages, fish specialties, fries, wine, mulled wine, and other delicacies will be offered. In addition to vendors from the surrounding area, many Groß-Umstadt market participants will be present at the stalls in the marketplace as well as in the column hall.

For children, a typical carousel will leisurely turn its rounds. Santa Claus will also be making his rounds at the Advent market with gifts for the children. Various choirs and music groups will perform daily concerts on the Christmas stage organized by A. Fendt. The organizers are doing their utmost to ensure that visitors have a wonderful weekend on the festively decorated wine island.
