Michelstadt Christmas Market

The Michelstadt Christmas Market impresses with its cohesive concept. The approximately 100 wooden stalls are festively decorated, and fir branches and fairy lights hang throughout the city. The special highlight is the life-sized wooden figures that are spread across the entire market and serve as signposts in some areas. They were made at the local woodworking school and impress visitors from near and far. The large parking lot "Altstadt" offers spaces for up to 50 tour buses and around 1,000 cars. Buses can park there for free. Public restrooms are available. After just 200 meters, guests find themselves in the heart of the old town, at the marketplace with its world-famous historic half-timbered town hall from the year 1484. The stalls of the Christmas market are spread along the central Braunstraße and in the narrow alleys of the medieval old town. Numerous wine taverns, cafés, and restaurants invite visitors to take a leisurely stroll through the Christmas market, making a visit to wintery Michelstadt an unforgettable experience.
