Culinary and artisanal specialties invite visitors to the pre-Christmas festivities at the Darmstadt Christmas Market. The advent-decorated city center and the Christmas trees in the marketplace, Luisenplatz, and Ludwigsplatz create a festive atmosphere.
The special highlight each year is the stalls from Darmstadt's partner cities. Whether it's culinary delights like Hungarian Lángos or wine and cheese from Saanen (Switzerland) – the partner cities are eagerly anticipated by both Darmstadt residents and guests every year.
This year, the Darmstadt Christmas Market is supported by the science and technology company Merck, ENTEGA, and the Sparkasse Darmstadt.
Info: The Christmas Market will be closed on the Sunday of the Dead (November 23).
