Fairy Tale Magic

The Youth Orchestra of the Municipal Music School Müllheim, under the direction of Eva Brüstle, opens the Christmas season in Müllheim with two concerts. With great enthusiasm, captivating programs, and a high artistic level, the Youth Orchestra, which began with the concerts of "Hansel and Gretel" in 2023, aims to delight the audience of its city. Under the title "Fairy Tale Concert," well-known melodies from the world of opera, ballet, and film music will be performed. Among others, "Three Nuts for Cinderella," "The Polar Express," and excerpts from "The Nutcracker" will be heard. The audience can look forward to a varied and atmospheric concert experience – with music for young and old, fairy-tale sounds, and a lot of passion. For the first time, the youth band of the city music Müllheim, under the new direction of Franco Coali, will also participate in the fairy tale concert. Coali has been leading the dedicated youth orchestra for a year, impressing with fresh energy and great enthusiasm. At the fairy tale concert, the youth band will present an exciting program that combines classical brass music with modern rhythms. The program includes "A Call for Peace" by Carmine Pastore, the energetic "Seven Nation Army" by Jack White, and the legendary pop hit "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. Admission is free. With their performance, the young musicians of the youth band and the youth orchestra of Müllheim are collecting donations for their joint trip to Müllheim's partner community Ledrotal, which is set to take place next spring.
