Dive into the world of ancient delicacies: Discover what the Romans, Germans, and Greeks drank – and the stories hidden in jugs and chalices. From November 24, 2025, to January 8, 2026, the city of Öhringen will showcase the special exhibition "Sought? Brewed! Bread and Beer in Roman Times" in the stairwell of the town hall, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Upper German-Rhaetian Limes. The exhibition highlights the significance of bread and beer in Roman culture and their production. Guided tours will take place during the Christmas market weekends.
