A vivid introduction to Roman history: From the rise of the empire to everyday life at the borders – with exciting insights into the politics, society, and culture of antiquity. From November 24, 2025, to January 8, 2026, the city of Öhringen will host the special exhibition "Desired? Desired! Bread and Beer in Roman Times" in the stairwell of the town hall, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper German-Rhaetian Limes. The exhibition highlights the significance of bread and beer in Roman culture and their production. Guided tours will take place on the weekends of the Christmas market.
