Winter Concert of the Sound Attack

The performance will feature the Trumpet Concerto in A-flat major by the Armenian composer Alexander Arutjunian, excerpts from the Masquerade Suite by the Norwegian composer Johan Halvorsen, as well as Symphony No. 3 (Rhenish) by Robert Schumann. In our next concert, the symphonic orchestra Klangattacke will present an international program spanning two centuries. Under the direction of Taras Demchyshyn, who hails from Ukraine, the concert will include the Trumpet Concerto in A-flat major by Alexander Arutjunian, composed in 1950, and excerpts from the Masquerade Suite composed in 1911 by Johan Halvorsen. Additionally, we will showcase Robert Schumann's 3rd Symphony (Rhenish) from 1850. This mix guarantees our audience a diverse listening experience, ranging from the energetic powerhouse of Armenian lyricism to Norwegian humor, spirit, and elegance, culminating in the romantic music inspired by the landscapes and atmosphere of the Rhineland from German lands.
