New Year's Concert with the Kurensemble Bad Mergentheim

To bid farewell to the year in style, the Kurensemble Bad Mergentheim invites you to a festive spa concert at the Kurhaus on Wednesday, December 31, at 3 PM. The spa concerts take place regularly throughout the year, but this date is particularly special. In many regions, it is a tradition to musically conclude the old year. For this occasion, the ensemble has prepared a special program and will perform with six musicians and a new instrument. For the first time, a concert cimbalom (Hungarian Cimbalom) will be featured at the Kurensemble Bad Mergentheim. The cimbalom is a hammered dulcimer primarily found in the Pannonian region. In terms of shape, this string instrument is classified among box zithers. Regular attendees of the spa concerts know that the Kurensemble Bad Mergentheim offers an impressive musical variety. Under the direction of Zsolti Hosszu, the orchestra presents a wide repertoire ranging from catchy classical pieces to popular film and musical melodies, as well as traditional German and Hungarian songs. The New Year's Eve concert will take place on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 3 PM in the Kurhaus-Großer Kursaal and is free for holders of the spa and guest card.
