Goblyns from Amsterdam/Berlin mix funk, soul, krautrock, and psychedelia into hypnotic grooves and fuzzy riffs. Since 2024, the band has been touring across Europe, captivating audiences with their energetic live shows. GOBLYNS Goblyns from Amsterdam/Berlin masterfully combine funk, soul, krautrock, and psychedelic elements. Their sound is characterized by infectious, syncopated drum-and-bass grooves and powerful, fuzz-laden riffs. The mostly instrumental trio – consisting of brothers Liam and Francis Broek and their longtime friend Giovanni Votano, all born and raised in Gqeberha, South Africa – first made waves in 2023 with their debut EP This Is Spaghettification. In May 2024, they released their first album Hunki Bobo through Crazysane Records, which was met with critical acclaim. Since then, the band has been touring across Europe and followed up in June 2025 with Three Sisters – another impressive album featuring Francis's gentle vocals for the first time. Influenced by groups like The Meters, W.I.T.C.H., CAN, and Kikagaku Moyo, these music lovers create a distinctive sound that defies categorization.
