Organ rocks: Rock, Pop, and Lyrics

Concert Since 2009, Patrick Gläser has been captivating audiences across Germany and Europe with rock, pop, and film music on the church organ. "Rock, Pop & Lyrics" focuses on the stories told through songs – whether through their lyrics or through what we, as listeners, associate with them. Featured titles include "Smoke On The Water," "Das Boot," "Tage wie diese," and "Nothing Else Matters." It promises an intense experience with room for reflection and a smile – and, of course, plenty of music for organ and goosebumps. "Organ Rocks" is an exhilarating solo project for the church organ. In his music project, Öhringen organist Patrick Gläser plays his cover versions of well-known titles from the genres of rock, pop, and film by ear, heart, and memory during guest performances both domestically and abroad. To date, over 540 events have taken place with more than 120,000 listeners. Highlights have included performances in Sweden, the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland, at the German Days in Archangel, and at the "Rock den Dom" festival in the Mariendom in Hildesheim. "Organ Rocks" was live at the Hope Gala in the Dresden Kulturpalast, at a concert in the Worms Cathedral for the 1000th anniversary of the cathedral and the Rheinland-Pfalz Day, and with two performances in the Erfurt Cathedral for the Catholic Day 2024.
