The year is coming to an end, and the Advent season is just around the corner. Everywhere lights are shining, and enticing scents fill the streets - the Christmas markets are opening their gates, including in Weiskirchen. On Saturday, December 6, 2025, and Sunday, December 7, 2025, the Weiskirchen Christmas Market, featuring a craft market on the Church Square and in the House of Guests, invites you to a festive Advent weekend.

In addition to festively decorated stalls with gift ideas and treats, visitors can expect a craft market in the House of Guests showcasing many handmade works. There will also be plenty of food options: from savory dishes to pastries and waffles, as well as coffee, cocoa, and mulled wine, there is something for every taste.

On Saturday, the market opens at 4:00 PM. Around 5:00 PM, the Christmas truck from the Wadern-Weiskirchen Economic Association will create a special atmosphere for the guests, before the brass ensemble of the Original Schwarzwälder Hochwald Musicanten Konfeld accompanies the evening with Christmas melodies starting at 6:30 PM.

On Sunday, the market begins at 1:00 PM. From 2:30 PM, Elisa & Max will provide musical entertainment with well-known Christmas songs and heartfelt sounds. Singer Elisa Rehlinger dedicates her life to her greatest passion - music. In addition to her work as a musical performer, she sings in various bands and is a wedding singer throughout Saarland. She is accompanied by Max Brausch on guitar. With their singing and gentle guitar sounds, the two musicians offer the audience contemplative moments amid the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle. Their versatile repertoire has something for everyone and allows visitors to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the Advent season.

At 4:00 PM, St. Nicholas will visit the market and distribute gifts to the children. This will be followed by the second part of Elisa & Max's performance at 4:30 PM, rounding off the musical program. In the evening, around 6:00 PM, the tower trumpeters of the Weiskirchen Music Association will perform festive melodies, providing a fitting conclusion to the weekend.

The Weiskirchen Christmas Market thus offers a varied program for the whole family and sets the mood for the upcoming festive days. The Weiskirchen/Hochwald Tourism Association, along with all participants, looks forward to welcoming many visitors and wishes everyone a wonderful Advent season.
