Vernissage and Performance by Sigrun Schaumburg – "Celestial Bodies, Earth Sound, Wisdom of Your Nature"

"Heavenly bodies, earthly sound, wisdom of your nature" – this is how Sigrun Schaumburg describes the source of her inspiration. As a child, she eagerly immersed herself in her worlds of images and was awarded a prize by her hometown of Bruchsal. Later, during her studies in product design, she particularly loved the artistic subjects and was honored for her innovative design concept for a banking system. Sculpture, painting, relief, figure drawing – and sound: all of this is united in her creative work. For the opening, she invites guests to a special performance – readings of her own texts that tell of the transformation of existential challenges, alongside an extraordinary duet with Michael Rudigier (didgeridoo) and her violin improvisations. In addition to numerous solo exhibitions, she is particularly committed to fostering and conveying art. As an art mentor and designer of exhibitions and laudations, she has been supporting artists and leaders in Germany and Switzerland for many years. Many artists have emerged from her seminars, who now exhibit their work, receive awards, and experience great resonance. Her work is multidimensional – and keeps us looking forward to some surprises.
