Christmas Oratorio

The Christmas Oratorio by J.S. Bach with the District Project Choir. On Sunday, December 14, 2025, a special concert will take place at 5 PM in the Jakobus City Church in Brackenheim. The District Project Choir, along with soloists Miriam Burkhardt (soprano), Julika Hing (alto), Dennis Marr (tenor), and Bastian Levacher (bass), will perform Cantatas I-III of J.S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio. A cantata orchestra featuring musicians from the region, as well as the Stuttgart Trumpet Ensemble, will take on the orchestral part. The concert will be conducted by District Cantor Gabriele Bender. Tickets are available for €25/20 (Category I) and €20/15 (Category II) starting Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Taube Bookstore. Children aged 5-14: tickets for €10 in all seating areas. Seats with limited visibility (Category III) will only be available at the box office for €10. Discounts apply to students, apprentices, and university students, as well as to people with disabilities and recipients of basic income support.
