Schotten Christmas Market

This year, the Schotten Christmas Market will once again take place around the Historic Town Hall on the 2nd Advent weekend.
There will be beautiful handicrafts, culinary delights for every taste, a tombola, and varied entertainment.
On Friday, our princesses will officially open the event at around 4:30 PM.
Additionally, “Heinz schenkt ein” will stop by with his legendary apple wine cart, bringing hot Hessen-Caipi, Flammkuchen, and mulled wine.
On Saturday, at 4:00 PM, St. Nicholas will visit the Christmas market with his goat-drawn cart and bring small gifts for the children.
The brass choir will provide musical entertainment during the day at the Klessing family’s location.
From 5:00 PM, visitors can take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the festively decorated streets.
At 7:00 PM, the annual gospel concert by the choir “Fathers Children” will be broadcast live from the Liebfrauenkirche to the market.
On Sunday, the brass choir will perform again, this time on the main stage, and the horse-drawn carriage will start its rounds at 1:00 PM.
Visitors can also watch live on Europaplatz as wooden logs are transformed into works of art. Marcel Böck will impress with his chainsaw art.
The drawing for the tombola will take place around 4:30 PM on the main stage at the marketplace, and from 5:00 PM, the musical light celebration from the Liebfrauenkirche will be broadcast.
