Badische Landesbühne: A Summer Night

A play with music by David Greig & Gordon McIntyre. A lawyer, a petty criminal, and a bag full of money meet in a pub and turn the night into day. Adventure, danger, humor, summer feelings in the middle of winter, and lively live music are guaranteed. Two people – Helena and Bob – meet on a midsummer night in a pub. She is a divorce lawyer abandoned by her affair, and he is a petty criminal waiting for his next job. Drunk, they have a one-night stand. Chance brings them together again the following day. Both are on the run: Bob from a botched job in front of his boss; Helena from her sister's wedding, which she has thrown into chaos due to the drunkenness of the previous night. With the £15,000 from Bob's boss, they celebrate all night and realize that it is not too late to change their lives.
