In their program "Groovin' Christmas – The X-mas Percussion Show," Alexander Glöggler and Philipp Jungk transform well-known Christmas classics into a rhythmic fireworks display of a special kind. Whether it's Bach's Christmas Oratorio or "Jingle Bells" – no piece is safe from these two drumming virtuosos. They not only use marimbas, drums, and cajóns, but also baking sheets, cooking pots, and other kitchen utensils – just like when they were kids drumming their first beats in the family kitchen. Their creative repertoire is in demand worldwide: Double Drums has performed at the Elbphilharmonie, at the EXPO in Milan, toured through South America and China, appeared on major television shows, and are recipients of the Bavarian Cultural Promotion Award, among others.
