Securing peace – but how? Ways out of the arms and violence spiral

The current crises are accelerating a spiral of armament and militarization. But what could alternatives to a military security strategy look like? The evening with Dr. Susanne Edel offers an opportunity to rethink other paths to peace. "It is said that we must become war-capable and secure peace through rearmament. Alternatives to the military security strategy, which seems to be the only option, are necessary. The evening provides an opportunity to rethink other paths to peace. – Dr. Susanne Edel is a retired pastor, social ethicist, and is furthering her training as a trainer for Nonviolent Communication. She earned her doctorate under Prof. Wolfgang Huber and is a member of the initiatives "Breakthrough to Peace" and "Peace Call in the Evangelical State Church of Württemberg." This is an event organized by the Heilbronn Peace Council in cooperation with the Evangelical Adult Education Heilbronn-Brackenheim and the Catholic Adult Education Heilbronn.
