Our museum guides, born railway workers and closely connected to the Bebra train station, will take you on a journey through the over 175-year history of the Bebra station. Gain deep insights into historical events, the significance of the railway, and the lives of numerous travelers and workers at the station. Through exhibits and two detailed model railway layouts, the narratives about the significant events surrounding the Bebra station come to life.

Permanent Exhibition "Bebra Station: Hub in the Empire – Border Station in the Cold War"
The permanent exhibition offers deep insights into historical events, focusing primarily on the lives of numerous travelers and workers at the station. Visitors are enabled to immerse themselves in moving eyewitness stories through modern media. Additionally, the permanent exhibition presents locations constructed through recreated spatial installations and captivates with exhibits as well as informative and emotional short films that tell stories of significant events surrounding the Bebra station – a fascinating journey through a groundbreaking past.
