Practical Training: Climate Change – Forest Management on Site How can forests be adapted to the challenges of climate change? This hands-on training provides answers – directly in the forest. After a brief welcome and introduction to the topic, theoretical foundations will be conveyed: forestry and tree species selection, natural regeneration and planting in stands as well as on calamity areas and necessary forest care. Afterwards, it’s time for practical application: participants will implement what they have learned during care operations and mixed growth regulation, guided by experienced professionals. The training offers valuable insights into theory and practice and demonstrates pathways for sustainable, future-oriented forest management.
