Cozy Tour around Lichtenstein-Traifelberg When the white limestone cliffs of Traifelberg are framed by spring's fresh green or the colorful, glowing autumn leaves, we hike up there from lookout point to lookout point, enjoying the sublime view over the Albtrauf and learning more about how this landscape was shaped by water and stone. First, we hike through the typical beech forest and over a species-rich juniper heath after a short ascent. Old, gnarled trees tell their own unique stories. Afterwards, from the Traifelberg cliffs, there is a fantastic view across to the fairy-tale castle of Lichtenstein. We walk along narrow paths at the edge of the Alb and beneath the cliffs.
