A village built on tuff: Water, landscape, and history at Seeburg

A tour that offers plenty even for the most pampered hiker: meadow paths and juniper heaths with views of the picturesque village of Seeburg, nestled among its four valleys, deep forests, wild romantic gorges, and water at every turn. The route largely follows the premium hiking trail "Seeburgsteig." The village is shaped by the calcium-rich waters of the Alb. A stream crosses under the Erms twice before eventually flowing into it. Cultural and historical events extending into the 20th century make this hike a memorable experience. A gem is the church with fresco paintings from the 13th century. At the end, there is an option to stop at the romantic Café Schlössle. The tour can be shortened for groups upon request (trail length of 4 or 5 km, elevation difference of the shortened tour 100 or 150 m, group price for the short tour € 90).
