Christmas Musical of the Südstadt Kids

The Südstadtkids of the Diaconal Midnight Mission are rehearsing diligently and warmly invite you to this year's Christmas musical "Father Martin" on the 3rd Advent, December 14th, at 5 PM in Christuskirche (Südstraße 118). The piece by Gabriele Wächter is based on the well-known story by Leo Tolstoy. Father Martin is waiting for Jesus to visit him, just as he heard in a dream. All day long, he encounters people in need and invites them into his humble shoemaker's room. But Jesus does not come – or was he there after all? Be inspired by the choir of the Südstadtkids, consisting of over 20 children from various cultural, religious, and family backgrounds, who together with song and theater bring the message of Christmas to life anew.
