Overwald Hiking Day

Am Kurpark 1, 64689 Grasellenbach - Gras-Ellenbach
On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the Überwald Hiking Day will take place for the 14th time – this time in and around Gras-Ellenbach, as part of the 175th anniversary of the Siegfried Fountain. The Überwald municipalities are supported by the Zukunftsoffensive Überwald and the regional Geopark local guides.
The event starts at 9:30 AM with a welcome, before the hikers set off for the guided tour at 9:45 AM. Participants can choose between two different lengths of routes.
From 12:00 PM, a well-deserved culinary reward awaits, generously provided by the local clubs. The start and finish will be at the Nibelungenhalle in Gras-Ellenbach. Hiking enthusiasts are warmly invited to participate in the offered free guided hikes.
