SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS
Sic Semper Tyrannis is a melodic heavy metal band from Vienna, Austria. Since its founding in 2013, the name - Latin for "Thus always to tyrants" - symbolizes the rebellious spirit and critical stance of the group. The five musicians combine powerful riffs, epic melodies, and profound lyrics into a modern sound rooted in classic melodic metal. Live, Sic Semper Tyrannis is known for their captivating stage energy, precise interplay, and closeness to the audience. Heavenly voices and abyssal growls - in the Austrian symphonic folk-metal band "The Crescent’s Call," frontwoman Cairistìona embodies two sides that couldn't be more different. In the new concept album, the young woman must transform herself into a demon as the last survivor in the fight against dark forces to restore balance to the world.
