The Freaky Friday Jailhouse Gang

“The Freaky Friday Jailhouse Gang” is a Graz-based funk band with influences from rock, blues, soul, and jazz. Founded in the early 2010s, the band consists of singer Lorena Valta, guitarist Markus Steinrück, bassist Tobias Steinrück, and drummer Fabian Steinrück. (No, the last names are not a coincidence; they are brothers.) After many years of playing covers of great artists (The Beatles, Sting, Stevie Wonder, and many, many more), the three brothers and their chosen sister decided to give writing original compositions a chance: they released their first album "Don't Panic This Is Serious" in 2021, followed by the concept album "Rise Of The Animal Kingdom" in 2022. On July 29, 2022, they had the great pleasure of performing as the opening act at the TOTO concert in Graz. Let’s have a funky time!
