Lindenfels Tradition Days with Autumn Market

The Lindenfels Museum in the historic Zehntscheune showcases traditional crafts in its workshops, allowing visitors to marvel at them in a unique atmosphere: The Odenwald horse maker demonstrates the production of his famous small wooden horses. The spinning wheel turns busily, and the shuttle at the loom is constantly in motion. Those who wish can also try their hand at the spinning wheel. Other traditional craft demonstrations in the workshops include printing, watchmaking, photography, saddlery, and bead embroidery. Children can felt their own dream catchers.

In the museum café, there are delicious Odenwald cakes and sweet and savory open-faced sandwiches. The stone oven and apple cider press will be in operation on both days. There are tempting boiled potatoes from the museum's potato steamer served with herb quark, fresh apple cider, known as "Süßer," or an Odenwald bratwurst at the fire department's stand. Additionally, fresh Odenwald gingerbread from the museum's bakery complements the offerings.

At the autumn market across from the museum in the community center by the spa gardens, there is a wide range of handicrafts and Odenwald specialties such as honey, mustard, jam, and homemade sausage. Numerous stalls offer unique gift and decoration ideas, autumn arrangements, and lambskins.
