The Desire for Freedom Meets Tradition
At the center is Sonja, an independent woman with big dreams, a penchant for nightlife, and an unwavering longing for freedom and America. For Sonja, love is more of a sentimental fairy tale that has little room in her life plans. But life has other ideas for her: Aunt Uschi, a wealthy relative from America, suddenly appears at her doorstep.
Uschi is the exact opposite of Sonja: responsible, tradition-bound, and with fixed ideas about life - and love. She returns to her old homeland, bringing with her a considerable inheritance and the desire to settle down and find true love (of all places!) in Germany.
