Güssinger Carnival Cabaret 2026

The Güssing Carnival Cabaret, one of the major highlights of the Burgenland cultural year for decades, is presenting a different production this year. Under the motto "Small but Fine," it returns to Güssing after two years and will be performed for the first time in the town hall before the grand opening of the cultural center.

In the 42nd year of the Güssing Carnival Cabaret, you can expect an evening full of memories, but also full of anticipation for what is to come. With video clips, you will relive unforgettable highlights such as "Grandma and the Boy," the police or army operations by Keglovits, Hofbauer, and Stangl, the newspaper seller and host Kurt Resetarits, pianist Arthur Fandl, Ralf Gober and his ladies, the policeman, the hairdresser, and ensemble members from the Güssing musical. Ralf Gober will invite performers and staff for interviews on stage and guide you through an evening filled with stories, rumors, and anecdotes.
