Höri Hike – Nature, Culture & Panoramic Views at the Untersee with the Schwarzwaldverein Görwihl

The Schwarzwaldverein Görwihl invites you to an exciting tour on the Höri – a uniquely scenic peninsula between Radolfzell and Stein am Rhein, characterized by gentle hills, wild romantic gorges, and fascinating cultural sites. After approximately a 1.5-hour drive, we will reach the parking lot at the cemetery in Öhningen. From there, our path initially leads down into the Klingenbachtobel, a wild romantic gorge with lush vegetation and an idyllic stream. We then ascend to the Kattenbühler Horn and continue our hike over the Aspenkreuz – always accompanied by wonderful views over the Untersee. Our route takes us down to Wangen, where we will take a cozy lunch break. Well-rested, we will make our way back and visit the Petruskirche in Kattenhorn, known for its vibrant and impressive Otto Dix windows – a cultural highlight of this tour. A delightful hike with nature, culture, and magnificent lake panoramas awaits you.
