The traditional Christmas exhibition at the Glass Museum includes a historical collection of Christmas tree ornaments (from 1840), ten real decorated Christmas trees, and a Christmas market. 1000 festive figures, ranging from the first fruits and animals to contemporary fantasy figures and machine-blown Christmas tree baubles, showcase the development of Thuringia's Christmas ornament industry to this day.
