Pasture migration – experience agriculture with the Black Forest Association in Görwihl

Discovery tour around the Eichrüttehof farm. On this informative pasture hike, we gain exciting insights into pasture-raised cattle and suckler cow husbandry directly on site and firsthand. Together with the experts from the Eichrüttehof, we will embark on a leisurely hike across the idyllic Eichrütte down to the Höllbach stream. Along the way, we will gain exciting insights into species-appropriate animal husbandry, regional agriculture, and the importance of nature-oriented farming. At selected stops along the tour, we will be treated to small samples of the farm's own products – an authentic taste of the farm, agriculture, and the region. The tour is deliberately kept easy and is suitable for anyone who wants to experience nature, culinary delights, and agricultural background in a relaxed way. With a walking time of about two hours, a distance of around three kilometers, and a moderate 70 meters of elevation gain, this hike offers the perfect combination of exercise, learning, and enjoyment in the charming landscape of the Hotzenwald forest. The meeting point and start of the tour is directly at the Eichrüttehof, and the cost is €10 per person.
