What is waste for others is a feast for them! In their quirky and lovable world, chaos, stench, and good humor reign – and that's just how they like it.

In stark contrast is the mayor of Schmuddelfing: a man who loves order and prefers to work all day long. Only for the sake of his wife does he reluctantly agree to take a walk in nature – begrudgingly, of course. But it is precisely there that he encounters the Olchis and their unusual way of life. Fascinated – and a little horrified – he recognizes the potential of these strange beings: If anyone can clean up the garbage in Schmuddelfing, it's them!

However, what begins as a clever idea soon leads to new problems – because a clean city is not necessarily a happy one. With plenty of music, humor, and imagination, this play tells the story of two worlds colliding: of order and chaos, of cleanliness and zest for life – and that sometimes happiness is found exactly where it stinks.
