Classics in the Castle with Gabriela Fahnenstiel and Ryan Meehan

Three great sonatas, three sound worlds: Classical matinee on December 21, 2025, in the baroque castle hall featuring works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Strauss. For the first time, they will be heard together at Schloss Bonndorf: the pianist Gabriela Fahnenstiel from Laufenburg and the American violinist Ryan Meehan. The duo presents three great sonatas, three sound worlds: Mozart's Sonata in G major KV 301 (293a) is a finely balanced dialogue between violin and piano. Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata in A major op. 47 captivates with passion and virtuosity, and finally, Richard Strauss' Sonata in E-flat major op. 18 combines youthful freshness with late romantic brilliance.
