Theater: Ur Faust. Ure Goethe.

In UR FAUST. URE GOETHE, we dust off Faust's study and allow a modern person to rise: In search of spirit, sensuality, and ecstasy, he makes a pact with Mephisto the devil. Can he give him everything? Does knowledge alone lead to happiness? Is man more than an all-knowing chatbot? Will the pact with the devil ultimately lead him to heaven or hell, will he be judged, or can he be saved through love? At the time of the work's creation, we were at the beginning of the industrial revolution; today we find ourselves at the beginning of the AI revolution. Artificial intelligence promises us humans all the knowledge of the world, and just like Faust, we are caught in a dilemma. The heavenly advantages tempt us, while the devilish disadvantages disturb us. Could artificial intelligence literally grow over our heads on our constant path to self-optimization? It depends on us!
