All children are math researchers, some say, and whether that's true can be explored by all the big and small visitors in the new interactive exhibition.

Numbers and rhythms, much or little, proportions from big to small—these are all mathematical themes that even the youngest can play with. Setting the table always involves numbers, and after each game, the winner is determined based on the number of points, that's clear!

Who can count only up to one? No further! How many bones does an octopus have? And how many zeros are in 1 billion? At six, the (H)Echse comes home from the office; what does it like to do afterward? Maybe play?

Materials in large quantities, like clothespins or wooden cubes, are there for free play, for inventing math; they allow for patterns and arrangements that contribute to a sense of mathematical fundamentals.

And the number game on the floor? You can roll the dice, but the game won’t be revealed—you have to come to the children's book house and join in!
