Brass music has been experiencing a remarkable renaissance for several decades. Trumpet mastermind Thomas Gansch is not entirely uninvolved, as he regularly delivers brass masterpieces that balance technical perfection with humorous spirit. That he still has plenty of breath left is proven by Gansch now with his own brass band, the Thomas Gansch Brass Music Supergroup. Together with colleagues from the Egerländer Musikanten, Da Blechhauf’n, LaBrassBanda, and the Vienna Philharmonic, he now blows classic film music hits to the audience. In their current program, they pay tribute to the great masters of Hollywood such as Korngold, Morricone, and John Williams.

Born in St. Pölten, Thomas Gansch is a co-founder of Mnozil Brass and a former member of the Vienna Art Orchestra. As a virtuosic trumpeter, composer, and entertainer, he shapes the music scene – always with a successful blend of technical brilliance and lively humor.
