13 lovingly designed Advent windows invite you to take a walk through the village and experience the Christmas story. The theme of the Advent path 2025 is Trust... which is an important aspect of interpersonal life, providing support and security. This includes keeping promises; ensuring that actions follow statements; and living the truth. But who or what is trustworthy? In the Bible, we read about people who dared to place their trust in God, believing that HE acts in their lives. Some even gave up their own plans for this, took bold steps, and relied on His word. They were convinced that God acts, even when they did not understand Him and He works through their mistakes and imperfections. Jesus Himself wants to gain our trust. He came to this earth to show that His word is true and that He can be relied upon. He loves us and wants to grant us eternal life. You are warmly invited to experience this story of trust. From the former Gasthaus Hirsch (Weikenmühle Weg 3) to the church, 13 windows will be open from the 1st Advent 2025 until January 6, 2026, and will be illuminated from approximately 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Flyers with the route plan at the starting point will allow you to explore independently. Parking is available at the former Gasthaus Hirsch, the House of the Liebenzeller Community, or at the church. The church will be open for a cozy stay until 9:00 PM. No guided tours will take place.
