It particularly focuses on 5 to 12-year-olds and their caregivers. Young families, as well as godparents and grandparents, can experience community here, even if they have had little connection to faith and church in the past. Kunterbunt Church is inspired by the English version of messy church. Kunterbunt Church starts with an inviting welcome time. This is followed by an activity time with colorful stations catering to various interests, followed by a celebration time with music, theater, and creative proclamation. The conclusion is the meal time, which invites joyful table fellowship. Each Kunterbunt Church is centered around a theme or a biblical story. Our five core values: hospitable: We live a culture of welcome and warmly greet newcomers. Joyful table fellowship is actually an old hallmark of Christians and is experienced anew. A shared learning space opens up to discover the Gospel in all senses and in very creative ways. joyfully celebratory: Kunterbunt Church is a charmingly chaotic "break" in everyday life. Together, we celebrate the presence of God. We experience community, enjoy meals together, and discover how creative we are. Christ-centered: Kunterbunt Church is wide open – yet has a clear center. The faith in Christ does not come across as instructive but fosters community and can be tried out and experienced without pressure.
