In this workshop, we will work with acrylic paint, paper, pigments, chalks, and other materials on cardboard in the format of 30 × 30 cm. We will discover our own visual language, experiment with various tools, and develop an individual abstract motif step by step. At the end, at least one designed cardboard piece will be mounted on a wooden body (30 × 30 × 6 cm) – ideal for standing or hanging. The course includes one wooden body and painting cardboard. Additional wooden bodies can be purchased on-site if needed. Please bring: brushes, acrylic paints, 2 containers for paint (e.g., large yogurt cups), and painting clothes or an apron, rags. The course is suitable for beginners (without painting experience) and advanced participants.

With Claudia Baumgartner. Baumgartner came to painting through a VHS course in 2006. At the "Fabrik am See" in Gaienhofen, near the Swiss border, Baumgartner regularly participates in week-long seminars to further her artistic education and learn new techniques. Claudia Baumgartner is a member of the artist group "Forelle blau" from Schiltach. Her motto when painting is: "Perfect is when you are free." To overcome the inner perfectionist, Baumgartner knows some tricks. Interested? Sign up!
