Classics at the Cathedral 2026 - Meute

The bass vibrates, the confetti shimmers, and the red uniforms sparkle in the strobe lights. Since 2015, the Techno Marching Band MEUTE has been creating a huge stir across the planet with their explosive combination of hypnotically driving techno and expressive brass music. The eleven Hamburgers in their iconic red jackets break rules and push boundaries. What started as a small experiment on the streets of St. Pauli has quickly developed into a globally celebrated phenomenon. Using only acoustic instruments, MEUTE is performing a revolution in techno while simultaneously redefining the concept of a marching band. With viral hits and sold-out clubs, they are creating electronic ecstasy worldwide. In 2025, they celebrated an anniversary – and in 2026, they will add to it in Linz! The band MEUTE invites everyone to join in a love letter to the last ten years of exceptional circumstances. Together with their fans, they want to celebrate the band's ten-year anniversary. For this occasion, they have released their first best-of album, JUBEL Album 2025, and are now extending their European tour for us. On July 17, 2026, there will be a real reason for collective euphoria and sweat-drenched bliss at Linz Cathedral Square!
