Markus Hirtler worked for more than 20 years as a nurse, nursing service manager, home director, and social manager. He created the character Ermi-Oma to raise his voice for the people who are not often heard in our "society of elderly disposal." The award-winning cabaret artist lovingly portrays the nursing home resident in a multifaceted way, with a lot of empathy.
