A series of impressive half-timbered houses and winding, steep alleys still convey the image of a medieval town today. Narrow, cobbled lanes lined with more than 200 listed half-timbered houses from the late 17th century – the town of Calw has preserved its medieval character to this day. Destroyed by numerous city fires, the town was always rebuilt on the foundations from the 13th and 14th centuries. Thus, Calw still exudes a very special charm that can be felt and experienced during a guided tour through the picturesque half-timbered backdrop. No registration is required!
