Opening of the Kreuzbühl Witch Carnival and raising of the witch's broom on the Kreuzbühl. The witches set up the witch's broom on the local mountain Steinach, the Kreuzbühl, with much noise and a fireworks display, thus heralding the 5th season of the year.
