They laugh at sentences, characters, irony, wit, and in the end, even at themselves. Isn't it wonderful to just be able to laugh? Thus, it is a delightful, light, yet also a bitter evening. Just a formality: The members' meeting of a tennis club is supposed to vote on the purchase of a new grill for the club's celebrations. No problem—if it weren't for the proposal to also fund a grill for the club's only Turkish member. After all, devout Muslims are known not to place their sausages on a grill that has been used for pork. As soon as this is mentioned, the small conflict over the grill digs deeper into the relationships among the members. Just as disrespectful as it is funny, atheists and believers, Germans and Turks, "do-gooders" and hardliners clash head-on. And everyone realizes: It's about more than just a grill... It's about how we live together. Especially since the boundaries between "right and left," "tolerant and intolerant," "religious and non-believing" are much more fluid than one might think. A fast-paced, sharply pointed, and very contemporary comedy.
