Laugh Yourself Warm! Life-ToHuWaBoHu - musical comedy against the winter blues by and with Camilla Kallfaß and Johannes Söllner (piano) www.camillakallfass.com
Laugh Yourself Warm! Just the right thing at this time: laughing healthily with vegetarian butchers, Nutella-addicted prostitutes, tap-dancing nuns, lustful gurus, and shy clients! From Big Spender to Ave Maria! Camilla Kallfaß swirls through the emotional chaos of life with sharp-witted humor, a strong voice, and boundless joy in performance. A woman. Man gone. Job gone. She fights, stands, falls – gets back up, sings, dances, and loves. With hits from the last 200 years, from pop/rock to operetta to Afro-dance. With charm, depth, and a pinch of nonsense, Camilla transforms the winter blues into a colorful fireworks display of laughter, music, and feeling. Press: "This 42-year-old bundle of energy can do it all," "So sophisticated and entertaining." Badische Zeitung
"All-round talent Camilla Kallfaß captivated the audience [...] dominated the stage, enchanted, fascinated, touched, and made the audience laugh. Her body language and facial expressions were expressive, as was her voice. She pulled out all the stops: smoky, rocky, clear, or with tremolo. The mezzo-soprano delighted with everything from operetta to musical to hits, pop, gospel, and chanson. Pianist Johannes Söllner acted as a fitting counterpoint. [...] The performances were underscored by various dance interludes from Camilla Kallfaß, sometimes ballet, sometimes African, sometimes oriental, or modern. Against the stunning backdrop of Neuwindeck Castle, she offered a spectacular show…." Acher- und Bühler Bote
"A show with pep and many surprising twists, which, after the applause demanding an encore, proved that the audience was enthusiastically swept away by her." - WochenZeitung Emmendinger Tor
The musical comedy is primarily entertaining and features both comedic and touching moments. Behind the joy it brings, it also prompts reflection: whether we want to remain in this ToHuWaBoHu forever, or perhaps want to arrive somewhere. Visitor feedback: "We wholeheartedly recommend attending Camilla's comedy. It's not just funny; it also conveys a deep understanding of the human soul, and encourages finding one's own strength."
