When you regularly perform on stages around the world, like the vocal group Hermann, you know: An audience wants to be nurtured and cared for, needs love and gentle encouragement to flourish and perhaps even exceed its own expectations. Like a houseplant, it is cultivated but also quite stubborn, requiring little light but a lot of water. And as soon as you take your eyes off it, it wilts: that’s why you must be prepared for everything, fertilize adequately, sometimes trim it, occasionally talk to it – and, of course, sing to it.

With nearly 15 years of experience, the Hermänner have proven themselves to be true masters of this highly intricate botany and have already reaped numerous nominations and successes. Their new program titled PLANTS blossoms with nonsense and whimsy, is a childlike poking around in the humus of the present, a collection of new favorite songs, and offers a kind of exit scenario from the madness of the world into a self-built raised bed. With their usual musical anarchism, somewhere between a cappella and stadium rock, the vocal group Hermann once again manages to take its audience on a humorous and entertaining evening where not a single eye remains dry.
