Social Walk - Human & Dog - Mixed Group

My guided Social Walk in Schwechat is ideal for all dog owners who desire relaxed walks with their four-legged friends – even when facing challenges like leash aggression or uncertainty. It's not just about training: the Social Walk combines targeted encounter training with the joy of movement, dog interaction under guidance, and social exchange among dog lovers.

Social Walk Groups – tailored to size & character
To ensure that all participants feel comfortable during the Social Walk, I offer three different groups for this guided dog walk:

- Small dog group: for dogs up to about 10 kg
- Group for medium to large dogs
- Mixed Social Walk group: for well-socialized dogs of all sizes

The individual classification ensures that each dog is in a suitable environment during the Social Walk – relaxed, safe, without overwhelm, and with controlled dog encounters.

Process & Organization of the Social Walk
Each Social Walk lasts about 1.5 hours and is divided into two parts:
- About 30 minutes for getting to know each other & assessing the dogs
- About 60 minutes of guided, joint Social Walk along the river in Schwechat

Requirements for your Social Walk
To ensure that your dog and the group benefit as much as possible from the Social Walk, the following requirements apply:
- Your dog is socially compatible with other dogs
- Your dog wears a well-fitting harness or collar
- You bring a standard leash (no retractable leash) and possibly a muzzle
- You are open to respectful exchange and group processes
- You want to learn how to provide your dog with security in encounter situations

The Social Walk is particularly suitable for dogs with uncertainties on the leash – but also for anyone who enjoys movement and new social contacts with like-minded individuals.
